Family Academy

The goals of the Family Academy are to:

Strengthen the relationship between families and schools

Improve communication between families, schools, and the community

Collaborate with parents to improve student achievement

Create well-rounded students physically, emotionally, and academically

Decatur City Schools is hosting workshops as part of their new Family Academy. The goal is to provide families resources in the fields of mental health, technology, communication, and trauma informed parenting. All workshops will be held at 6:00pm.
