It's about providing an innovative learning environment for our students. We use technology tools teach our student creative problem solving, collaboration, and critical thinking. Students leave DCS knowing how to locate, collect, organize, evaluate, and interpret information from online resources.

Technology Management

Technology staff supports all hardware, software, network, and telecommunication systems, including email, servers, wide-area and local-area networks, telephones, student information systems, digital educational resources, learning management system, digital transcripts, student take-home devices, website and social media, and all computer maintenance.
Network Infrastructure

Decatur City Schools network supports over 12,000 devices per day across 23 locations with 10Gb connections to each school and 5Gbs to the internet.
