Parents and Guardians,
The DCS Virtual Academy has two mandatory orientation sessions for NEW STUDENTS scheduled on Thursday, January 4, 2023 at the Virtual Academy (809 Church St. NE; Decatur, AL 35601).
Orientation will cover topics such as attendance, course requirements, how to access grades, learning lab, required dates for in-person testing, and most importantly, how to use Edmentum and be successful. Attendance by a parent/guardian and their student to one of the sessions is required.
🚨Student classes will not be accessible next semester unless you and your student attend one of the sessions.🚨
The purpose of the orientation is to give you vital information so that the student can be successful in a virtual environment. Students will also receive copies of guided notes for the semester.
