My name is Michael Thomas. This is my 17th year teaching for Decatur City Schools. I have spent most of my career teaching 3rd grade. I graduated from Hartselle High School in 2000 and Athens State University in 2005. I have a BS in Elementary Education.
I am a lifelong resident of Hartselle. I am an only child. I have a Rat Terrier named Abby, who is spoiled rotten. I am a Realtor as well. So I stay pretty busy.
In my spare time, I love to be with my friends and family. I love to go to the beach, read, swim, watch movies, and just anything fun and relaxing.
