innovative learning
Educational Technology isn't just about the tools we provide or the network infrastructure (though these are critical components). It's about providing an innovative learning environment for our students. We use technology tools teach our student creative problem solving, collaboration, and critical thinking. Students leave DCS knowing how to locate, collect, organize, evaluate, and interpret information from online resources.
Integrating technology into traditional instruction practices creates a modern classroom that engages students and amplifies their learning.
Technology Management
Technology staff supports all hardware, software, network, and telecommunication systems, including email, servers, wide-area and local-area networks, telephones, student information systems, digital educational resources, learning management system, digital transcripts, student take-home devices, website and social media, and all computer maintenance.
