Walter Jackson Elementary 2nd Grader, Makenzy Tidwell, created the winning name for Decatur's new SRO K-9 police dog. After hearing Officer Buckle and Gloria in the library, Makenzy suggested the name Maddie for the chocolate lab. The police force chose the name Maddie from over 200 entries.
