The program goals are: • To promote home/school/community involvement in student learning. • To provide assistance to parents about how to better assist their child with homework and reinforce skills that are taught at school. • To build an active partnership between parents, teachers, and students. • To provide opportunities for parents to be involved in their child's education.

Each local school will devise a comprehensive plan which includes activities designed to facilitate parental involvement in their child's academic success.
