    Welcome to our 5th grade classroom Web site.  Our school is an International Baccalaureate PYP School and a Blue Ribbon School! Our class explores solar energy, ecosystems, variables, and microworlds.  We also investigate heritage and character.  Our math is a hands-on approach to understanding mathematical concepts.  Writing is a part of our daily life as we write essays, stories, and book reviews.  We also write in math and science journals.  Reading and vocabulary are also a part of our daily life.
