Welcome! ________________________________ Welcome to our 5th grade classroom Web site. Our school is an International Baccalaureate PYP School. Our class explores solar energy, ecosystems, variables, and microworlds. We also investigate heritage and character. Our math is a hands-on approach to understanding mathematical concepts. Writing is a part of our daily life as we write essays, stories, and book reviews. We also write in math and science journals. Reading and vocabulary are also a part of our daily life. Our class is proud to have been published in the Decatur Daily. Students have written book reviews for the newspaper, and many have submitted items to "Kids Scoop."
