Creative Crew
Creative Crew is an extracurricular class that meets weekly for an hour to learn more about art techniques and perform service projects for our school and the community. Students are selected based upon their behavior and dependability, as well as, an "audition" - submission of an original piece of artwork and a paragraph that explains why they want to be in Creative Crew. The Charter Creative Crew began in 1999 and they created many traditions, such as designing their own crew shirt, visiting musuems for Youth Art Month in March, to creating banners for Veterans Day and our Valentines for Veterans annual project.  Each year the students gather at the first meeting, with ideas in hand, to design the shirt they will wear as a Creative Crew member. Take a look at the great designs these students have come up with over the years!The Crew has completed several different service projects over the years. From a table cloth for the Governor to Veteran banners for our Valentines for Veterans project.
