All About Mrs. Wiley!

Hello!

Welcome to our classroom web page!  I would like to tell you a little about me, my family, and my love of teaching! 

I grew up here in Decatur and graduated from Decatur High School in 1993.  I attended UAH and Athens State College and graduated with my early childhood(K-3) degree in Dec. of 1996.  This is my 11th year of teaching.  I have taught Kindergarten, 1st grade, 2nd grade, and been a reading coach.

I have been married to my husband Anthony for 12 years and I have two beautiful children.  Erin is in 5th grade and Logan is 3rd grade at Leon Sheffield.  They keep me very busy with softball, baseball, and many other activities.  We also have three other four legged family members, two labs named Shy and Sam, and one new Maltese puppy named Sassy!

My goal is to teach children to believe in themselves by giving them opportunities to learn how to act and react in our world today!
