Welcome to the Kindergarten Page!  My name is  Mrs. Angela Johnson.  I have been the kindergarten teacher at Benjamin Davis since 2002!  I feel as though I have become a permenant fixture in "the last classroom on the left"!  And because of this, I have had the privlage of teaching many sets of siblings!  I love teaching at Ben Davis because of it's size.  We are a family here!  The first and second grade students love to come down and share their success' with me and my class. There has never been a time I have gone to Wal-Mart and not seen one of my "own babies", or one of "the big kids" from first and second grade!  I love hearing them whisper to their parents, "she's the kindergarten teacher at my school!". My "big babies", from the two years I taught at Cedar Ridge, are in college now and update me regularly on Facebook!!

I earned my BA in English Literature and my MA in Elementary Eduacation from Adelphi University in New York.  I grew up on Long Island and taught in the New York City Public Schools for six years.  I relocated to Decautr when I married my husband, Dale Johnson in 2000.  We have three children;      Angelina -7, Giovanni-35 and Isabella-3.  Angelina attends Ben Davis and is in Mrs. Propst first grade class.

So if you find yourself at Ben Davis make sure you stop in and visit the kindergarten in "the last classroom on the left"!
